In order to create titles which are animated, we use a program called After Effects. I plan to use this software when editing my thriller opening as it will make the titling look better and original. To learn about After Effects and how to use it, I have looked at tutorials so then I can follow them and learn techniques from other people.
It has been useful to do this as you learn what each tool does and you can play around to create other effects.
