James Cameron

James Cameron has a distinctive style of directing. His films are controversial and have dramatic music and effective camera angles to portray important ideas. They are notability lengthy, for example, some of his movies include Titanic and Avatar which are known for being long. These two movies are famed for incorporating complex and interesting story lines in relation to love. As a result he is a talented and award winning director, these include the prestige Academy awards and Golden Globe Award.

He also has a Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Director. Praise for James is emphatically proven by him winning the Award. Therefore his work is critically acclaimed. Titanic was reviewed by Chicago Sun-Times, Roger Ebert said - "It is flawlessly crafted, intelligently constructed, strongly acted and spellbinding."
James also made use of original aspects of mise-en-scene and CGI to create Avatar. It was reviewed, by the Hollywood Reporter, as being "a fully believable, flesh-and-blood (albeit not human flesh and blood) romance" and "every bit of technology" James used "serves the greater purposed of a deeply felt love story." This further sows he is a respected, skillful and accomplished artist.


Titanic
Cameron uses music to emphasise emotions and it also helps to strengthen ideas in the viewer's minds. The song "My Heart Will Go On" in Titanic is continuously played. This relates to the story line which results in the viewers to feel empathy for the characters.
